When should I prune my laurel?
I didn’t prune my laurel hedge in the summer – can I do it in winter?
Winter and spring pruning is fine. The important thing is to use secateurs and to cut beneath the outer leaf canopy. Leaves are damaged by hedge-cutters and shears and they turn an unsightly brown.
