Rambling rose is out of control

There could hardly be a better time. Cut away as much of the growth as you want. If you’d like the rose to flower this summer concentrate on removing old branches that have already bloomed and tie in the current year’s shoots which have yet to flower. They’ll supply next summer’s blooms.
