RHS Chelsea Flower Show at the Royal Hospital, Chelsea, London. The world’s most famous flower show features the latest trends and design from the cream of garden designers, nurseries and exhibitors. Open 8am to 8pm (5.30pm on Saturday). RHS members’ admission prices range from £14-£49 depending on day and time of entry and public rates range from £19-£45.

Gardening Scotland, Royal Highland Centre, nr Ingliston, Edinburgh. This show is Scotland’s national celebration of gardening and outdoor living. Tickets cost £13 (Friday) and £11 Saturday or Sunday. Under 16s free.
