Gardening broadcaster John Cushnie dies
Popular broadcaster, John Cushnie, of Radio 4’s Gardeners’ Question Time has died after suffering a heart attack. He was 66.
He had been a regular panellist on the programme for the last 15 years after starting his broadcasting career with BBC Radio Ulster. John had a successful landscaping business in Northern Ireland and was a columnist for a national newspaper’s gardening supplement as well as contributing to several magazines. He had also written several books.
